Erin Kim, a USC Graduate with a Masters of Social Work Degree, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She has a variety of experience as a mental health therapist at the county mental health department, clinical medical social worker at hospital & hospice care, and volunteer caregiver support group facilitator & community presenter at Alzheimer’s Orange County.
Erin Kim actively participates in education by providing in-services at work, appearing as a panelist at community colleges, a guest speaker on radio programs, a presenter at forums. Her topics are related to Dementia & Alzheimer’s, Aging & Death, Advance Planning, Grief & Loss, Caregiving, Effective Communication, Relationships, Child/Elder Abuse, Stress Management, and Self-Care.
